Five stages of a Breakup
For some, high school is the initial start of ones dating life. Relationships are formed and one opens them self up to be vulnerable. But conflicts often arise as high school student have yet to reach there highest point of maturity. And conflicts can lead to the break-up. The five stages of grief are referring to the loss of someone close to them and how people are expected to deal with it. Breaking up with some is also a form of losing someone. So here are the five stages of a break-up and some tips and songs to help you through it.
The first stage is Denial. You may find you're self wondering if the event really just took place. You might say to your boyfriend or girlfriend "Are you serious?". The length of this stage depends on the how long you've been together and how serious you were about each other. But in most cases this stages doesn't last too long. So once you've established that you're really broken up with this person, the next stage is soon to be well on its way.

Tips:
Open up to someone about what you're going through. If you're not ready for that, you can try writing it down.
The second stage is Anger. You're anger is this stage may be aimed in several different directions. In one case scenario you may be angry with yourself for doing or not doing something. In another situation you may be angry with the other person for breaking up with you. You may even be mad a God or someone you think might have caused it to happen.

Tips: Get that anger out, go to the gym and exercise, and give the punching bag a little piece of your mind. If exercising isn't for you then take your ex's picture and use it as a dartboard, you know you want to.
The third stage is Bargaining. You might try and bargain with god asking them to bring this person back. You could even talk to their ex telling them you'll change if they come back. This stage is another short one and is manly just leading up to the next phase.

Tips: Get out with some friends, do something that your ex never liked to do but you did.
The Forth Stage is Depression. This may be when you really realize what you're losing. Sadness takes over and you may feel numb and want to withdraw your self from outside contact. This stage unfortunately can last for a long time, again depending on how serious the relationship was. The good part about this stage is that it's close to the final stage. You have to go through depression in order to heal and move forward in your life.

Tip: Curl up with a pillow and blanket and let yourself cry. Put everything you have that reminds you of your ex in a box and store it away, as to make a clean cut of them.
The Fifth and Final step is Acceptance. Once you've moved on from the depression stage its time to really accept that this part of your life is over. You're over your ex and its time to move on with your life.

Tips: Focus on what you've learned form being with this person. All life experiences serve a purpose and maybe this person has taught you all you were supposed to learn from them.
